Lancôme Creates Sporty Look for Victoria Beckham Spring 2012

Mercedez-Benz New York Fashion Week wrapped up yesterday and Luxetips has the scoop on Spring 2012 make-up and fashions.  Lancôme once again created the look for Victoria Beckham's Spring 2012 Collection.  I am a huge fan of Victoria Beckham's sheath dresses and this collection was definitely form fitting but with with a colorful sporty edge.  

Lead Lancôme make-up artist, Charlotte Tilbury created fresh and glowing skin with no color.  She wanted a more "handsome" and "sporty" look to compliment the clothes.  I personally prefer some color on the face, but this is an interesting look. What do you think?

Lancôme at Victoria Beckham Fall 2011 Collection

I have more New York Fashion Week coverage and Lancôme’s make up team created the beauty look for Victoria Beckham's new Fall 2011 Collection. 


Victoria Beckham is becoming a fashion week sensation as her sheath dresses are all the rage.  This season, Victoria went with a "futuristic" theme with her dresses.  She showcased her classic sheath dresses with a slight edge and new balloon type dresses that were designed in gorgeous bright colors.  She paired the look with elegant hoodies and caps.  Lancôme’s make-up artist, Charlotte Tilbury drew inspiration from Victoria's collection and created a "futuristic and glowy" look.  Ms. Tilbury used Lancôme’s new Star Bronzer Natural Matte Bronzing Powder to create the glowing look.  She also used:

FOUNDATION:

Teint Miracle Lit-From-Within Foundation and Eclat Miracle Complexion Illuminator 

FACE: 

Gold highlighter, the gold shadow from Color Design 5 Shadow and Liner Palette in Jade Fever and Éclat Miracle Complexion Illuminator (used above the cheekbones, down the nose and above the cupid’s bow)

LIP:

Nude matte lipstick = L’Absolu Rouge La Base lip treatment and  Teint Miracle Instant Retouch Pen 

EYES:

Bronzy eyeshadow, Color Design 5 Shadow and Liner Palette in Taupe Craze and Aquatique Waterproof Eye Color Base 

Charlotte also used Lancôme’s 

Modèle Sourcils Brow Groomer in the clear shade.  This product was used to keep the brows brushed up and in place.

Mercedez-Benz New York Fashion Week: Backstage with Lancome

I hope your life is wonderful! It is so cold but still beautiful and sunny!  I love the Sun!

Although I could not attend Fashion Week this Spring, I still had to bring you Divas details from Backstage.  I was fortunate to get the scoop on Fall Make-up trends created by my fav luxe beauty brand, Lancome. 

First up the Victoria Beckam Show.  Lancome lead make-up artist, Francelle, created a look that included nude lips, silver eyes, and  shimmery skin.  Francelle's inspiration for this look was 1930's Old Hollywood Glamour.  Francelle derived this inspiration from Victoria Beckam Fall 2010 Collection which had a "Dick Tracy" vibe.  The products used are as follows:

Pure Hotness! These clothes are only for serious Divas! Yes, lounging in South Beach on a cool Fall night with my Louboutins and a hot dress! Yesssss!!! 

Lancome also created the look for the Chris Benz Fall 2010 Collection show. Lancome lead make-up artist, Daniel Martin, created a "Gothic Chic" look to compliment Chris's line.  This look included smokey eyes in hues of charcoal grey and chocolate and for the lips, a "gradated" gothy lip using a matte lipstick and topping it off with Juicy Tubes lip gloss.

 I am loving this look for fall! As a matter of fact, I am going to attempt to re-create it pronto. I love make-up and this look is giving me so much inspiration to do it up!
