| Karate Kid Kicked the A-Team in Weekend Box office Posted: 14 Jun 2010 01:53 AM PDT  DreamWorks Animation's "Shrek Forever After" finally was bumped to the third spot by two remake movies after maintaining the top spot in three consecutive weekends.
Jaden Smith's "The Karate Kid" delivered some Kung fu moves beating the macho cast of "The A-Team". The combination of Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan generated $56 million at the box office which exceeded the studio's expectations ($40 million dollar budget).
