Well I have some very exciting news to share!! By the time you read this post, I will be on my way to the Essence Music Festival as a VIP guest of Ford, Inc.! Wowza!  Ford, Inc. is sending a group of bloggers to Essence Music Festival to cover the festival and learn more about their exclusive automobile sponsorship of the Essence Music Festival.  Ford has had the prviledge of being the exclusive automobile sponsor for Essence for the past three years. 

How did this AMAZING opportunity happen?  Well I have had a relationship with Ford for a couple of years now and as I told you guys back in April, Luxetips is becoming a true lifestyle brand and we have started to branch out and cover in addition to beauty and fashion, the latest in luxe cars, kids fashions, travel, and events.  As luck would have it, Ford, Inc. invited me and I am beyond thrilled and thankful they did!

Next weekend New Orleans will host the annual Essence Music Festival Weekend.  Essence Music Festival is the largest African American music and culture event in the U.S. attracting over 250,000 participants. Wow!  That is incredible!  This year's festival headliners are Mary J. Blige, Kanye West, and Usher.


Ford, Inc. is returning for the third year as the exclusive automobile partner for the Essence Musical Festival.  This year Ford has planned many awesome activities for festival attendees and the chance for attendees to win some amazing prizes. Essence Music Festival attendees can look forward to:

• Opportunities to test drive Ford's new 2012 automobiles such as the new 2012 Ford Edge, the new 2012 Ford Explorer (North American Truck of the Year), and of course the best selling new 2012 Ford Focus.
