Posted: 02 Jan 2011 12:46 AM PST  Shania Twain is not the only one who got hitched this New Year's Day, actress Valerie Bertinelli is also starting the year as a married woman as she tied the knot with her longtime beau Tom Vitale at their home in Malibu. Bertinelli tells PEOPLE, "We're so happy!". 100 guests attended the intimate ceremony including Bertinelli's ex-husband/rocker Eddie Van Halen, and their 19 year-old son Wolfgang.
