One of my favorite automobile brands, Acura, will for the first time, live stream their new products revealed at the Detroit Auto show.  Whoohoo!  I can't wait to see the new developments Acura has in store.  I own a MDX and I love it!

During the show, BET will highlight selected tweets from qualified entrants and then randomly select one potential grand-prize winner from among all eligible entrants during the live broadcast. Luxetips Automobiles! 2012 Ford Fiesta & Boris Kodjoe at The Atlanta International Auto Show

In an effort to transform Luxetips into a true lifestyle online destination, we will start giving you the latest and greatest in luxe style including automobiles and other luxe topics.  The site will re-launch soon and I can't wait for you guys to check it out!

Every year Atlanta hosts a spectacular International Auto Show showcasing the latest and greatest in automobile technology.  The show took place at the Georgia World Congress Center from March 23-27.  I was fortunate enough to get an invite to the Ford Eve of Show event featuring the new 2011 Ford Fiesta.  I was looking forward to this event because Ford is a leader in Social Media outreach and I was curious to learn more about how their branding strategy has been effective in making the company's vehicles best sellers.  Plus it didn't hurt that Boris Kodjoe was the host. LOL!

The preview event took place at Stats, a uber-cool sports bar in downtown Atlanta.  Attendees had an opportunity to mingle with Ford's top marketing and branding executives while noshing on yummy appetizers and enjoying cocktails.  After the meet and greet, we were escorted outside to check out the new Ford Fiesta.  Although I am an luxe SUV diva, I have to admit the car was pretty neat.

Buyers of the Ford Fiesta can now customize or personalize the vehicle to their taste.  The Ford Fiesta comes in a range of funky colors and this Race Red and Onyx Black one was too cute.

It has a red and black contrast interior, perforated leather seats, the Fiesta logo in the seats and 16 inch Alloy wheels.  However, the real fun with this car is the technology and fuel efficiency.  The Ford Fiesta includes SYNC®^27.   SYNC® is an easy-to-use in-car connectivity system that allows the driver to have access to their phone, music, or USB drive with simple voice commands. Nice!  But the great thing about the new Ford Fiesta is that it has an EPA-certified 40 mpg or higher fuel economy rating.  Considering how high gas prices are these days, this is simply incredible!

As I stated, Boris Kodjoe was our gracious host as he has a long relationship with Ford as one of the faces of the Ford brand.  Go Ford!  He is humble, gracious, and.....simply stunning.  He actually looks better in real life. Go figure!  His wife, Nicole Ari-Parker is a very lucky woman.  

The Ford Fiesta is a best seller and I would certainly recommend it for young or old adults with no kids.  My kids with all of their stuff would not fit. LOL!  We would certainly need a Ford Edge!  The base price is around $15,000 and the gas mileage is so worth it!
