Luxetips: I love the Rainbow Palette. How many different looks can one create with this palette?
NP: The looks can you create with this palette are endless really – there are 15 individual shades that are designed to be worn either on their own or your can combine a few shades for a truly customized look. My inspiration for the center section of the palette came from my Australian background: the pink/orange shades remind me of the Australian desert and the color of the sky as the sun sets. The richer, deeper shades in that section also represent the night sky and The Southern Cross (the star constellation). The charcoal section was inspired by the muted tones of the Scandinavian artists I have been drawn to lately. The last section is a beautiful selection of neutral shades to naturally highlight and define the eyes. With this range of shades, you can create something for all occasions – to take you from the office, out to dinner and on the dance floor!
Luxetips: What is the difference between the "Calming Pre-Foundation Primer" and the "Brightening Pre-Foundation Primer?"
NP: Brightening Pre-Foundation Primer helps up your radiance count. It has an anti-aging complex that contains gold to reduce the appearance of fine lines and a purple tint to brighten up dull skin. Calming Pre-Foundation Primer is an absolute miracle worker on skin prone to redness. It boasts a green tint to calm sensitive skin and neutralize redness, with the addition of Aloe, Cucumber and Peppermint Extracts to leave skin feeling cool and refreshed.
Luxetips: What is the proper way to apply the new Eye Shadow Duos?
NP:: Start by prepping your eyelids with NP Set Eye Primer. Glide the deeper eye shadow across the lid with a soft eye shadow brush and sweep the lighter shade through the socket for a subtle smoky effect. Also, you can use the softer shade on the lid and the deeper shade on the outer corner for an everyday look.
Luxetips: What is the trick to properly applying false eyelashes?
NP: Squeeze a small drop of adhesive onto the back of your hand and glide strip base (or individual lash) through glue. Wait 10 seconds. For Manchester, lay the lash strip to the center first and as close to the natural lash line as possible. For Copenhagen, place individual lashes on top of the natural lash line without touching the skin to create fuller looking lashes. Or simply apply lashes to the outer corners for a doe-eyed look. Press and wait 60 seconds to dry and then finish with your favorite NP Set Mascara. To remove, gently pull away from the lashes.
Luxetips: Why do you think your eyelashes are better than the competition?
