Vogue's Annual September issue is out!  It is gorgeous.  Included in Vogue's annual September issue,  is their top 100 fashion finds under $100 guide.  I love this portion!  Because let's be honest, $100 finds is definitely in my budget.

Here are ten items I love from the list!

Banana Republic leopard print belt from The Mad Men Collection. $50.

Bordelle at Asos

You know my go-to sites for online shopping. There is another one that quickly caught my attention,  and I have not yet had the chance to share the good news with you. Asos is a global site that has a plethora -yes, I pulled out an SAT word- of goodies. The site claims to offer over 50,000 lines and attracts nearly 13 million visitors per month. It is almost exhausting to look at the site. Exhausting in a good way, but scary for those of whose who gave up shopping for Lent.

 

Asos carries the Bordelle brand of dainties, of which I became a fast fan. On my wish- list right now are the Bodice Bra, Elastic Angela Dress and Waspie. The Bodice Bra has an exposed zipper and  decorative extra large hooks to accent the bondage type design. 

The Angela Dress andWaspie likewise have exposed zippers and suspender clips. 

Whoohoo! 

The particular pieces which I have selected are quite steep for my budget; but if Santa happens to be making rounds soon, say for instance Christmas in July or May or even April, this is what I am seeking. You may think that the bondage inspired trend is so last year, but it is always on-trend for undergarments. I am sure we may even catch some star sporting Bordelle bondage inspired dainties on top instead of underneath. While, I do not intend to share my goodies like that, I find the thought of wearing the intricate elastic detailing quite sexy, so much to the point that I do not think I will need anyone to know what I am wearing in order for them to see that I am a woman who appreciates herself. The Elastic and Mesh Bodice Bra , Elastic Angela Dress, and Waspie sell for $358.60,$ 715.41, and $338.88 respectively at Asos.

White House Black Market: Patent Waist Cincher

A reader asked where she could find a nice cheap patent leather waist cincher. She lives in the UK. Well,  I wished you lived in the A because I would be more than happy to have an outing with you and take you to all my favorite spots here. Patent leather, hmmm.... I had seen a multitude of patent leather skinny belts, but not any waist cinchers that I can recall.  I did a little research; and I didn't mind; I love a challenge. My search returned with the expected results, all of the couture houses had cinchers, but not in a $50 budget. I saw a lovely Yves Saint Laurent in red patent; a Giuseppe Zanotti pastel mix for $333.19; a Burberry Prosum lime green for $495.00; a classic Alexander McQueen on sale for $588.00; and the most fabulous, a Suzi Roher leopard print patent for $295.00.  To add insult to injury,  the more affordable cinchers were costumey, reminiscent of Halloween, and not G rated costumes either. The key to pulling off a patent waist cincher is to make sure the rest of the outfit is clean and perhaps on the dressier side. 

The last man standing: White House Black Market (MIL's favorite) has a lovely black patent, in limited quantities, selling for $58.00.  And White House ships to the UK. International shipping is $30.00 per order and subject to import duties and taxes. I wish that I could provide you with more options, just keep your eyes open at online sites such as Asos and Ebay.Uk.  If the White House Black market option doesn't satisfy.
