Bath and Body Works Newest Collection: Dark Kiss

I hope you have been having the best day ever!

Currently I am in love with Bath & Body Works® new Signature Collection, Dark Kiss.  The Dark Kiss Collection features a full body collection including bath and shower gel, lotion, body creme, hand creme, and scents. I have been using the body lotion for over a month now and I am officially in love.  Dark Kiss is a blend of dark berries, vanilla, sensual incense, Mirabelle plum, and night musk.  The scent is unique and very sensuous.  I love it!

The lotion is super hydrating and it is non-greasy.  It immediately absorbs into your skin and it keeps my skin moisturized pretty much all day.  I only have to reapply it after washing my hands.  And of course, I always receive nice compliments on the scent.  People always want to know what I am wearing.   I can actually just wear the lotion as a scent and moisturizer and I am good for the day!

Johnson's Body Care/Luxetips Party!

I hope your day is awesome! I feel like Spring is finally here in Atlanta. Yes! It is so pretty outside.

As many of you know, Johnson's Body Care asked me and a group of other fabulous bloggers to host a Cause Party highlighting beauty, women friendships, and helping others. The Johnson's Body Care/Luxetips Cause Party took place this Sunday and it was a blast! We had delicious food, Berry Mimosas, and great conversations about Beauty. Here are a few pics from the party!

We also discussed our must-have beauty products and secrets. Here are some of my favorites.

Me. I must have Lancome Defencils Mascaras, NARS blushes and bronzers, and MAC lip glass.

Natasha. Must have NARS...all of it! lol!

Funkdiviagirl. Must have facials, pedicures, eyebrows groomed, lip gloss, DiorShow Mascara, Tarte gel blush. FYI..The Targe gel is the businesses. Everyone kept complimenting her glow!

Cutiebootycakes. Must have good foundation. She was wearing Lancome Foundation and it looked so natural. Did I mention that I love Lancome?

Kia. Must have essential oils for the skin. Her favorites, lavender, lemongrass, and eucalyptus oil.

Inan. Must have Urban Decay eyeshadow and HD foundation.

Jackie. Must have Eucerin lotion and Fashion Fair Cosmetics! Hello!

Nicola. Must have Water. Love it!

Tiffany. Must have Dove Soap. I use it to wash daily.

This was a great conversation! Also we discussed the awesome Johnson's Body Care products. The 24 Hour Body Wash is by far the most luxurious drugstore brand body wash I have ever used. Read my review here. I am also excited to try the Be Radiant Cocoa & Shea Butter Lotion. It claims to visibly even skin tone and texture. I will let you know if it lives up to the hype!

Of course the party was for a cause. The charity I chose to highlight was CARE's Women Empowerment Initiative. This program provides resources to women in poor communities around the world. I am so excited that we raised funds for this much needed program.

All in all the party was just so much fun. It was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

I am having an interesting morning. My internet connection sucks! But I must stay positive! I hope your day is filled with love and happiness! Johnson's Body Care contacted me several weeks ago about hosting a "Cause Party" to celebrate beauty, women friendships, and giving back to the community. I thought, Beauty, Friendships, and Community Service? Count me in! These "Cause Parties" will take place around the country and guests will learn more about Johnson's Body Care new line which includes the 24 Hour Lotion and Body Wash and Johnson's Baby Oil Gel with Shea & Cocoa Butter. These products are clincically proven to moisturize skin for 24 hours! Guests will also be able to have fun and bond with other women while enjoying good food and drinks. But the best part is that the party will highlight an important community service organization. Partying for a Cause! How cool is that?

Singer, songrwiter, and actress Ashanti hosted the very first Cause Party which benefited the Boys and Girls Club of Glen Haven, Long Island. I had the opportunity to speak with Ashanti about her party and of course she revealed some of her beauty secrets! Her must have make-up items? Lip gloss, Mascara, and Bronzer! She also stated that her philosophy on giving back is that if you are able to, then you have to. It is a no brainer for Ms. Ashanti! Ashanti also revealed that she loved Johnson's Body Care 24 hour body wash, lotion and the Shea and Cocoa Butter Baby Oil Gel.

Johnson's Body Care was gracious enough to send me a sample to try and I have to agree the 24 hour Body Wash is Phenemenol! And I am not just saying that because I received it for free. lol! The body wash is very very creamy. Plus it has a nice smell. It is very calming and pleasant. However, what I love most about the body wash is that it produces a very rich and silky lather. It is very luxurious!

After using the body wash, my skin was super smooth and so soft! I also used the Shea and Cocoa Butter Baby Oil Gel. I applied the gel as soon as I stepped out of the shower to lock in moisture. The gel smells really yummy too! So far my skin is still feeling soft and silky after 12 hours. I have not tried the lotion yet, but once I do, I will give you an update.
