Two weeks ago I attended a fantabulous soiree at the new Atlanta hot spot, The Goat Farm.  The Goat Farm  is located in West Midtown.  It is a 12 acre compound consisting of open spaces, rustic surroundings and the occasional rooster taking a stroll on the grounds.  It is also comprised of red dilapidated buildings that add to the country but urban charm.  You really get the feeling you have taken a trip to the countryside!

UrbanDaddy Atlanta and Heineken Light hosted a party at The Goat Farm that was incredible!  I went there with my girl D and we were greeted with an array of activity that satisfied all the senses.

Food Network Star chef Justin Balmes got down on the grill and served up a tasty variety of beef, lamb sausage, pulled pork and chicken.  Guests also enjoyed fresh cole slaw, roasted corn, and the most amazing black bean salad I ever had.  Yum!!


There was plenty of wine and cold Heneiken beer to go around.

Atlanta High Road Craft Ice Cream provided the dessert.  There were also performances by banjo player Morgan O'Kane; live paintings by TINDELMICHI and Greg Mike.  DJ Vicki Powell provided the tunes.

Luxetips Events! Official Launch Party for Gilt City Atlanta

Hello Divas!

This post is long overdue.  My travels have kept me pretty busy.  But about two weeks ago, Gilt City Atlanta had their official launch party and it was swanky, uber-exclusive, and chic!  Check it out!

Of course the event was organized by the beautiful and talented Caren West of Caren West PR.  Caren always does a wonderful event and this one was one of her best.

The party took place at MODA, the Museum of Design Atlanta,  which is a beautiful modern art space.  The decor was decked out in all things Gilt City and Atlanta.

There was delicious food served by one of my favorite restaurants, Sun in My Belly.  The menu included shrimp, homemade biscuits, mac and cheese and crab cakes.

There was also delectable chocolate desserts and moon pies! I tell you those moon pies took me back to when I was a little girl growing up in Atlanta.

An Atlanta favorite, The King of Pops, was also serving up cold delicious popsicles!

The event was sponsored by Grey Goose and they served two yummy drinks:  one featuring fresh crushed mixed berries and the other a southern sweet tea.

The Grey Goose girls were in full effect and they had on the cutest wrap dresses in Grey Goose's signature blue.  They also had the logo on their dresses.  How cute!

There were plenty of celebrities and important people in attendance.

I was pleasantly pleased to see internationally-known artist Ratcliffe Bailey in attendance.  His amazing artwork is currently on display at the High Museum

Of course all the beautiful people in Atlanta came out!  

Gilt City even had Acrobats perform.  They were pretty amazing!

Gilt City Atlanta gave all attendees custom Gilt City gift bags, which included real peach preserves, Coca-Cola, and a Gilt City Atlanta coupon.  I have to say I love my Gilt City bag so much!  It is the perfect size, not too small and not too big.  Plus it has a neat little inside pocket for storing keys or a cell phone.  Great idea Gilt City Atlanta.  

Most of all the event was fun and a great way for Gilt City to make a splash in the Atlanta market!
