| ‘Golden Voice’ Ted Williams Detained by Police Posted: 11 Jan 2011 04:52 PM PST  Ted Williams, the 53 year-old homeless man with the 'The Golden Voice' and became instant You Tube sensation, was detained by police Monday night (January 10) at the Renaissance Hotel in Hollywood after getting into a shouting argument with his daughter. "LAPD responded to a disturbance call at the Renaissance Hotel at about 9 p.m. [Monday] night," police spokesman Bruce Borihanh tells The Hollywood Reporter. "An investigation was conducted and two individuals were transferred to the Hollywood station. No one was arrested or booked for any crime in relation to this incident. After a short investigtation, police determined no crime was committed by either party... Nobody wanted to press charges." Reportedly, money is the issue in their argument. Ted, who got a second wind of opportunity with his golden pipes must be careful because his instant fame can vanish in an instant.
